The EV maker cut over 3,400 job postings in North America — but it's still listing some open roles on LinkedIn.

On LinkedIn, Tesla advertises 326 jobs. Most are located in China, with a few others in Europe and at least one in the Dominican Republic. Just one, for the manufacturing development program, appears to be located in the U.S. Tesla did not immediately respond to a request for comment Wednesday.

Tesla is a massive company, employing 140,000 people as of late last year. But over the past month, layoffs have torn through the electric vehicle maker — and now a hiring freeze appears to be in effect in North America.

Tesla was the biggest customer for lidar manufacturer Luminar last quarter, according to its earnings report.

To throw salt on the wound, Tesla has reportedly sent an email to recently laid off employees that informs them that they are getting the boot because “there was no reasonable accommodation” for their roles anymore,

Elon Musk is making more job cuts at Tesla. On Sunday night, the company sent out more layoff notices, according to workers who shared about it on social media. This means that Tesla workers are now getting layoff notices for the fourth week in a row.

The most recent Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notice was for five employees at the South Buffalo plant who will be laid off starting in August. It brings total local Tesla layoffs to 316, or about 16% of its 2,

Business Insider reports that a Tesla employee shared their experience on LinkedIn, revealing the dreaded "Hello Employee" email that marked their turn for the layoffs. The email
